Like most moms and grandmothers, we want our children to be safe in our schools. But for the past few years there has been violence and death in our schools by sick and evil people. So what can we as parents do? It's time for us to do something about this injustice.
Let's talk about it, but let's talk about it, then do something about it. Each of us has the power to change things in our country if we come together, unite and look for solutions to this big problem in our schools. Each one of us can make a difference in our communities.
You stay-at-home moms, let's get busy.
Our schools are funded by
*Local property taxes
*State funds
*Federal funds
So, since we pay taxes to fund schools, as well as other things, we have a right to have a say-so in what our children are taught and about safety issues.
Then there are the bullies. I believe that some, if not all, of the kids who went to schools and shot people were bullied.
So, I believe that we moms and grandmothers need to stay alert and informed about what goes on in our schools, and do something about it. We can change things that need to be changed, IN A PEACEFUL MANNER, no violence.
So let's talk about it and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT TO CHANGE THOSE THINGS. And let's get involved in the PTA meetings at school.

Local Property Tax
– Property taxes are a major source of funding for your schools. Your
school district levies a tax on local properties to fund neighborhood
public schools.
State Funds – State funds are another major source of support
for most public school districts in Texas. These funds come from a
variety of sources, including sales, gasoline and franchise taxes.
Federal Funds – Compared to state and local funds, very
little support actually comes from the federal budget but these funds
help support programs like free and reduced-price lunches, technology,
bilingual education, and special education.
